GAnother pre-fitted block, built by Salamis Shipyards, has arrived in France, specifically at Naval Group’s facilities in Lorient, to be integrated into the FDI “Themistoklis”, which is being built for the Hellenic Navy.
According to Naval Group, Salamis Shipyards has been part of the French group’s supply chain since 2022, participating in both French and Greek FDI frigate programmes. To date, 15 of the total 21 blocks assigned to the Greek company have been delivered.
Naval Group also stressed the success of its industrial partnership with Salamis Shipyards. It noted that the reliability of deliveries from Salamis Shipyards plays a significant role in ensuring the timely and high-quality construction of FDI frigates for its clients. Furthermore, it mentioned that deliveries will persist in the upcoming period, with new shipments already planned for the summer.
